Coldbrook, Nova Scotia

Winter Storm – February storm hits Kings County

Hazardous winter conditions are expected. A low-pressure system will cross the Maritimes tonight bringing significant snowfall and strong winds to the province. Snow at times heavy has spread across Nova Scotia this morning and will change to ice pellets from west to east through the day. Total snow and ice pellet amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected by late this afternoon.

Strong easterly winds in combination with the falling snow are giving poor visibility in many areas in blowing snow. Winds gusting up to 80 km/h will combine with the ice pellets to cause further difficult travel conditions this afternoon.

These are the activities each weeknight at Heritage Hall (2833 Lovett Rd Coldbrook).

Monday – Crib

Tuesday – Yoga

Wednesday – American Contract Bridge

Thursday – Social Dance

Friday – American Contract Bridge

Check the events listed for more information.

We are looking for quotes on installing a fully accessible bathroom at the Heritage Hall. Please contact [email protected] for more information if interested.
