Coldbrook doesn’t have its own recreation director, but families here are well served by nearby programs, and Coldbrook has its own growing set of local options too.
Right Here in Coldbrook

County & Area Recreation Services
For sports leagues, youth programs, drop-in activities, and municipal facilities, the Municipality of the County of Kings Recreation Services is the best starting point:

Since Coldbrook is close to Kentville, Wolfville, and New Minas, families may also find programs through those towns’ own recreation departments worth a look.
A New Recreation Facility for the Region
The Municipality of the County of Kings, the Town of Kentville, and the Town of Wolfville have selected a site off Harrington Road in Coldbrook for a proposed new Regional Recreation Facility. As of March 2026, the partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining plans for an aquatic centre, gymnasium, walking track, and community rooms, with the Town of Kentville also planning a new replacement arena attached to the facility. The target for completion is late 2028 or early 2029, though the county notes timelines depend on decisions still ahead at each project stage.
